European Forum for Belt and Road Cooperation

Organized by Pallas Athena Geopolitical Research Institute (PAGEO, www.geopolitika.hu) and our insititute, the 2017 European Forum for Belt and Road Cooperation was held on May 22, 2017 in Budapest.

More than 100 officials, scholars and experts, diplomats, from China, Hungary, Serbia, Turkey and foreign guests in Hungary attended the forum. The 2017 Forum is the first direct, pragmatic and high-level meeting between Europe and China to discuss the status and future of mutual beneficial cooperation under the “One Belt One Road” Initiative.

The topics of the confrence were EU-China Relations on the Belt & Road Initiative, Substantive Fields and Challenges of CEEC-China Cooperation, New Possibilities of CEEC-China Cooperation after Beijing Summit, Projects and Plans along the OBOR.
